Editing sketch for base extrusion magically makes extrusion thinner ;-)

I came across this odd behavior. A lot of errors for missing geomtry are displayed after paerforing a simple editing the skech of a base extrusion of a part. 

It takes too many words to explain, so here is a screencast:

This may not be an error in F360 behavior but perhaps I've inadvertantly done something durnig the design process that causes this behavior. Looing for some clues.

I figured out what the problem was. This one is on me 😉

A somewhat questionable sketch prior in the timeline caused this behavior. Once corrected the part "behaved" correctly.
