Hey Stevie,
Have you tried with a new installer? Go to http://fusion360.autodesk.com/ and click on "Get Fusion 360". We had some maintenance this weekend and I would like to make sure you are trying with an up-to-date installer.
Can you tell me what OS you are using? I can't tell from the images or text.
Thanks,
Andy
Hi Andy ,That's why I tried an uninstall as I'm getting (see below) when I try a re-install using windows 7 64 bit
Stevie,
We had an update to the software today. Can you uninstall the software and click this link "Get a fresh installer". This should update you to 1.8.604.
This still does not solve your original problem. If this continues I would like to schedule a GoTo meeting with you. This will give me a chance to see your machine and help clean up some files.
Thanks,
Andy
Hi Andy, as stated above I am unable to uninstall the app as I'm getting the cx_freeze fatal error whuich seems to be Python specific, any ideas?
Stevie,
We should schedule some time to look at your machine. Can you email me at andrew.sears@autodesk.com and let me know what time works for you? For now, I would like to help you get back to being productive with the software.
Andy
HI Stevie,
Can you help to check the {$user} of your account. Does that contain non-latin characters?
Thanks.

Sorry for your troubles. I was wondering if you could use the Microsoft fix it utility to uninstall Fusion 360.
http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/
To err on the side of caution, I would disable any anti-virus software and lower the user account control settings (UAC) to the Never Notify position (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts) while performing the re-install.
I can't help but wonder if the update problem is due to interference from a firewall, proxy server, or anti-virus. Do any of these sound like a possibility?
Hope this helps...
Hi Nathan , Thanks for your reply, ok, so MS Fix,it
Fusion 360 not listed,
click on unlisted and it asks for product key,
don't recollect having one of those,
Am I just going to have manually go into the registry to uninstall,
