Additional sketch profile selection bug

Hi,

I'm trying to add additional cut features from the same sketch, but it seems F360 only allows me to reselect 1 sketch profile instead of multiple. And as you can see from the screencast below, initially it shows 2 sketch profile selected, but I can't select the 3rd one and deselecting all the sketch profile to select all 3 only allows me to select 1 profile no matter what I do.

My guess is this is more of a bug?

Hi O.Tan,

It’s a little tricky. The basic rule is, when the preview of the extrusion is presented, we can only hold Ctrl (Windows), Command (Mac) to add/remove profiles.

During editing features, the preview is already there so we have to hold Command key to add profiles. You may also find similar behavior during extrusion creation, i.e. after providing a distance, the preview is presented and we cannot directly add/remove profiles.

Hope it anwsers your question, please let us know if you had more questions/requests.

Thanks, that seemed to work but odd that it's not that sensitive? as in sometime clicking on it doesn't seem to select it. Anyhow, here's another screencast of a similar issue, this time is with the thread tool. I've tried holding the command key, but doesn't seem to work

Btw, how do I embed screencast? I've tried using the embed command in Screencast and copy pasted but the forum doesn't seem to allow it

Wow, you just found a selection issue related to Thread feature. It happens to adding selection for internal thread (i.e. attached to hole). External thread works well. Good catch! I will ask the development team to look into it.

I have not tried the embed screencast. Let me try it by using your recording.

Aha, found it - There are three tabs when typing the message, "Rich Text", "HTML" and "Preview". Just paste the embed code into HTML tab, it works! Other messages can be still typed in "Rich Text" tab.

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue. Please keep the feedback coming.

BTW, screencast is very helpful for us to quickly understand the problem.
