Imagine I have a hollow cylinder with top cap closed to inject.
The top wall shows an clear airtrap and making it thicker would helb, but.. (big changes, money ans other restrictions...)
Long story short:
The air trap should be get rid of through extra venting.
A pin (Ø 10mm) with a circumference of approx 31,415mm and a gap of 0,03 mm should help to avoid the air trap.
Q: How to model it on the mesh?
Do I need a group of vents in that specific area, or just one in the center of that area (center of the pin) with the technical data I mentioned above (the pin is 55 mm long by the way).
The help is not very helpful here. The video from Shaun Gedman is better, but only for start.
Am I assuming right, that if I consider venting analysis I have to built *every* venting?
So in my example the whole perimeter on the opposite site of the top (where air can get out usualy due to splitt-tool section) has to be made of grouped vents?
In the end I have to judge if venting can avoid making the tool partly new.
Sure, in that case we could start without considering simulation, but that is not within my focus.
Greetings
