Troubleshoot Error 304715

Greetings Everyone!

I am working through a demo of the cool FEM solver; please see the reference here  http://autodesk.typepad.com/beyondmoldflowinsight/2012/03/cool-fem-for-3d-plastic-parts-model-prepar...

After working on this in synergy I decided to replicate in hypermesh. To reduce my time load I generated a surface mesh of the cavity, runner, and mold insert. When I go to run in Moldflow I am getting a error 304715: An injection node has been set on a node belonging to the mold. If I change the properties or delete the mold insert this error goes away.

What could cause this problem?

Many thanks for any insights!

Hi,

No need to change properties or delete mold elements, you just need to delete the injection cone from that location & set it on part properties.

Regards,

Mayur
