The thickness of element is outside the expected

Warning Message:

The thickness of element XXXXX is outside the expected

range. Please use Modeling > Query Entities to locate

the element, check the element properties and, if

necessary, re-run the analysis.

I have tried different way but could not find the element.

Hi,
another way to find the elements.

click Mesh > Mesh Diagnostics > Thickness Diagnostic to view the thickness of the various elements.
set Min , Max to values to capture elements that are outside the expected range
tick Place results in diagnostics layer

When you have identified the problem element
on layer Diagnostics Result select it, right-click and select Properties... and then change the Thickness value.

You can also try to right-click the error message in screen output,
and see if the error message allows to be Selected by Error or Warning.
If, you can assign the selected elements to a layer for further investigation.

This message means that there is a problem with the thickness value of the element, meaning it is either too small or too large. So depending on thickness out of range material might freeze off to soon, cool time to long et.c.
A single element with this message will probably not affect the overall result much, but review the thicknesses carefully.

Berndt
