Self Crusade!

I want to allocate this initiative which worked for me intended for perpetuity. If anybody encompasses more in this substance please do share with us.

 

Please make some series of like this update regarding your self initiative which will help us (New users).

In my experience, cutting the default edge length in half is only good for IGES imports. When using MDL, in my experience, the default edge length estimates are quite good.

 

Some other points to consider when selecting the global edge length are, objective of the analysis, size of the part, feature size variations, nominal part wall thickness, thickness variations, just to name a few.

 

But in general, i agree, cutting the default edge length in half is a very good starting point for mosts models.
