Question for Unit system on Model Export to Patran

I learned the hard way, that Moldflow saves the Patran mesh in meters.

It doens´t ask on export and so far it worked for me.

Now that I´ve tried the scripts the situation is different.

The model has units in mm (when the Question for unit system is answered "metric").

So the difference is, that MF asked on export when using scripts like mpi2nas mpi2abq or other.

But Moldflow doesn´t ask when doing the export from Synergy-> Export-> Model.

It would be an fine enhancement if MF would ask here, too.

Why?

When I doing stuff like coupled FEA with transfering fibre orientation and frozen stresses from MF to Marc Mentat or Abaqus,

the software I use expects (obviously) that MF saves in meters (like it does usually without asking).

With the script asking me I could choose SI here and maybe I´m ready then, but I would feel better if MF would ask on every export,

or keep the standard under options for that.

It just confuses me otherwise.

The examples: (First Standard export first lines)

25 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0

 1 1 0 2 0 0 0 0 0

Now the example from the script:

Best regards

Hi Harald,
thank you for the suggestion.
Do understand the need.

There is an online procedure in which you can directly raise enhancement requests/ideas for the Autodesk Simulation Moldflow products at the Simulation Moldflow Idea Station

Simulation Moldflow Idea Station can be found here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Simulation-Moldflow-IdeaStation/idb-p/91

Here enhancement requests and ideas are posted, and users can vote by kudos.
The Simulation Moldflow IdeaStation is reviewed by Simulation Moldflow Development Team.

You can also find the IdeaStation from user interface of Moldflow Adviser, Moldflow Synergy or Moldflow Communicator.
It is located in tab Community. The button IdeaStation will take you to the on-line Simulation Moldflow IdeaStation
