New Custom plot Defl W2???

Hello, I think I am just stuck on something but I cannot seem to find where you locate the shrinkage factor when creating the custom plot Defl W2. I understand the scale factor but the shrinkage % is what I am hung up on. Thx

Hi,
you can turn on Deflection plot and then use Examine Result, and Coordinates+Shrinkage.
Then measure between nodes in different directions to get an understanding of shrinkage value in different
areas of the part. Use a mean value as Shrinkage (%).

You can also plot Isotropic Shrinkage result, to estimate this value.
It is a measure of the overall level of shrinkage in the element.
Use a mean value as Shrinkage (%).
