Mucell + Injection compression simulation

Hello All,

We have a part which is manufactured by Mucell + Injection compression process.

It has got two parts (Part A & Part B). Part B is with Mucell & Part A is molded over part B by injection compression process.

First the Part B is injected then the mold table rotates & inject part A with injection compression process.

My question is : Can i simulate this combined Mucell + Injection compression in Moldflow ?

Hi Anoop,

At the moment, you cannot simulate this sequence. You can simulate the Mucell process, and the Compression molding with a plastic insert seprately, but not integrated in one analysis sequence.

We are starting to see more combinations of processes in the last few years and are following this closely.
