Does anyone knows if Moldflow Shrinkage test method is equivalent to ASTM D955 or ISO294?
Hi,
I think best person to answer this question is an Autodesk Personnel.
But yes, Autodesk has a dedicated plastics lab, where all the data is tested along with its properties & its behavior is checked after molding say, 48 or 72 hours later. So yes you can say that it is equivalent to ASTM. But you need to select a CRIMS available material for checking the shrinkage values.

Hi all,
Thanks for the help. We got a reply from mpl and were informed that AMPL shrinkage test is not similar but more comprehensive than ASTMD and ISO, providing more accurate information especifally for filled materials.
