Modifying temporary directory for MFI 2014.

Hi,

I am using MFI 2014, when i tried running an analysis locally. It failed with an error message " Not enough disk space", so i need to change my temporary directory to a new location. While browsing i found this link :

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Modifying-the-Project-and...

But the above said option is not available in my system, a picture has been attached for reference. So how to change temproary directory?

Hi,
the article you refer to is Job Manager for network license of Autodesk Simulation Moldflow.

The picture you provided shows Simulation Job Manager, which is for Simulation 360 Moldflow 2014 or Simulation Moldflow Flex 2015, which refers to the 360 or cloud products.

You can change temporary folder for Simulation Job Manager:
Click on Preferences (the cog-wheel to the right and select Preferences)
tab File Transfer
Field "File transfer temporary folder" holds the path.
Click on "..." to select a new folder, where you have access and rights to read/write and on local drive.
Sim Job Mgr temp storage.PNG

Hope this resolves your issue.
Regards,
Berndt
