Mesh Repair Wizard - 3D - AMI-2012

Hi,

I have another comment about 2012. The default mesh repair wizard values (atleast for 3D) have been changed. Is there a reson for it? For eg.:

Max allowed edge length ratio changed from 2.5 to 3

High aspect ratio changed from 50 to 100

Small interfacial angle changed from 2 to 1

Large interfacial angle changed from 177 to 178

These new values allow for a poorer mesh quality to be accepted. Is this the new standard or just a glitch.

Also, on the small interfacial angle the "fix" button is greyed out even when the min. included angle is smaller than the value in the box. This must be a bug, right??? The attached image is not the only time it has happened.

Can someone please clarify.

I don't think it is a bug but just a different set of criteria for 3D mesh quality in mesh repair wizard.

The small interfactial angle button being greyed out is a bug i believe.
