Mesh Error

Hi,

I'm new on this. I have an .ipt file, is a very simple part, similiar to a cube, but I have a problem with the mesh.

After selecting the PART PROCESS SETTINGS and the GATE LOCATION, I click on the PART FILL ANALYSIS, an then I click on START, few seconds after, appear this:

Analysis:Fill analysis
User:AMG, Mold:Mold Design2.iam, Part:Mold Design2_BORRAR_MP.ipt
Detail:Mesh failed, from *Mesh.err user can find what error is.

I don't know what is wrong.

Thank you.

Hi.
I think, probably, the mesh has some problem.
For example, you must check such as free edge and overlapping mesh.
It is not enough to information of your problem.
Check to mesh quality.
Good luck.

Thank you acany80,

I just draw a kind of rectangle and then I extruded it. I saved it as a .ipt file,

and I did what I have mentioned in the first post. I never used a mesh, but I assume a mesh is generated in the process.

Where can I chek the mesh quality?

PD. I'm not working with MOLDFLOW INSIGHT, I'm using the TOOLING MODULE for INVENTOR 2010, I think is the same.

Hello, AMG!

Inventor Tooling uses Moldflow analysis functionality derived from AMA not AMI.

Not exactly sure what is causing your error, though.
Please forward .ipt file or workflow steps to recreate problem.

Regards,
