How to model Mold Insert Cooling with Heat Pipe

Dear All,

I launched 3D_Cool analysis. There are temperature difference in the mold on core side. I am trying to model Be_Cu as mold Insert with heat pipe.

Someone help me how to model the Be_Cu Insert with Heat Pipe.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Mathankumar. R

Hi,

Although I have not done this myself, I had recently asked a user who uses heat pipes a lot: the recommendation from him was to model the heat pipe as part with an extremely high thermal conductivity. Again, I have not done this myself, but this would seem to match the behavior you would expect from a heat pipe.
