Exporting UDB files from Materials Public Database... is it possible?

Hello all,

I have the necessity to run at a customer's, who is running an older version of Moldflow, an analysis with a material recently included in Moldflow Public Database. I have the latest release and can select this material. Is there a possibility to extract/export the UDB of such material so that I can bring this to the customer? Should I look in a particular folder of the hard drive?

Hello Carlo,

if I've understood well your request, exporting of UDB file is very easy.

Now I try to explain:

1. In EDIT create new udb file with a new name (ex. the name of the material you need to export)

2. Select category: material and proprierties: for example thermplastic material

3. Click on database and search the material you want to export

4. Copy the material above
