Do API MPI6.1 scripts work on Moldflow 2010 ?

Hi to everybody,

I need to use some API scripts (using Visual Basic Script) originally written for Moldflow 6.1 with the new Moldflow 2010?

Does anybody know if these scripts will run correctly and safely on the new MF version?

Good Day Kabarb,

The script should work, but it will depend on how complex it is. I would suggest making a copy of a study and try it on a copy just incase it done not work correctly.

The problem is more complex. I need to take a decision if purchase or not the new Moldflow 2010. Obviously I`ll do that only if my old work (based on MPI6.1 API scripts) can work properly.

Hi Kebarb,

The API's should be fully backward compatible, so scripts written with a prior version should work with the latest version. This is a fundamental principle for an API.
