Command line

Hello,

I need to run a script in the AMI 2010 R2, however the command line in the View toolbar is not available.
This "problem" is ot new for me because sometimes I have the command line and others it not appear.

You can check the attached picture that proves what I write.

For me it looks like a bug in the software. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

Did you already have the same problem?
Can someone help on this?

I hope that someone can help me on this,

Hello Gonçalo Rodrigues

Command Line and Macro recording / play back (Automation tools) are avaliable only for the first instance of synergy. For second and further instanances of synergy they are disabled. For second instance of synergy message pops up showing the same.

I hope this helps you.

Thanks and regards,

Sachin Fulsundar.

Thanks Sachin Fulsundar,

Now I have the command line available.
So, if I understood well, I need to open the first sinergy and after that it will available for further instances.

At least, like that it worked.

Thanks again,

Hi,

the first Synergy user interface you start will connect to the OLE automation client.
This means access to Command Line and Macros Record/Playback.
The second (and more) Synergy user interfaces you starts, will not have access to macros.

If you close the first Synergy user interface you started, and still have other Synergy running,
Command Line and Macros Record/Playback will not be accessible anymore - even if starting a new session of Synergy.
In this case, one have to close all Synergy interfaces that are open, and start a "first" Synergy to
connect again and get access to Command Line and Macros Record/Playback.

From my understanding this is a windows limitation.

Berndt
