Command-line error: cannot open error file

Hi All,

I have Insight Ultimate 2013 installed and updated with SP2 on a new PC.

The problem comes when I import my study files from a previous computer (on which everything was working flawlessly).

But now, ONLY the DUAL DOMAIN mesh/analysis works and it HANGS with 3D after determining the "Total projected

area ... " in the log window (nothing happens even after 24 hrs!)

Thats the error I get every time in the log whenever I change to 3D solving:

"Command-line error: cannot open error file "C:\windows\temp\OCL_four digits.TMP.LOG"

Has anyone come across with this???
this is extremely annoying as I cannot use my old studies from my previous computer.

Please, do you have any remedies, suggestions how to solve this.

I suspect you have an ATI graphic card and probably also windows 8 ?

This is a known issue with ATI drivers, when trying to use GPU.

To workaround that problem you can either :

- Disable the GPU in the advanced options when launching an analysis

- Get right access for windows/temp directory. In Windows 8, you cando that by just using explorer to go in w:\windows\temp and follow the prompt

The problem has been resolved and I can confirm that was related to the ATI graphics card...
