coincidence nodes

hello,

                while running moldflow 2k overmolding analysis warning msg showathe first shot and second shot nodes are coincidence..

how to avoid this isuue

Hi,

avoid to use Global Merge, it will merge nodes at interface, and cause co-incident nodes.

To squeeze model node numbering use Global Merge with negative tolerance such as -0.1

To fix this, copy one of the parts away, for example part B to part B1.

Remove the part B.

Translate back part B1.

Do a Global Merge with negative tolerance such as -0.1 to squeeze model node numbering.
