Chord Height

How to calculate chord height while converting a model into STL files in any CAD Software? 

Is there any decisive factor of chord height which effects in meshing or analysis?

Hence I am using one formula to calculate chord height:

C (Chord Height) = M/ Q X 1000

Where,

        M= model size (I am picking the maximum length of product for that)

        Q= quantity of elements (As per recommendation of Moldflow I am using a constant value of 0.3)

Is it correct?

Please elaborate details to clear my uncertainties.

After a long wait I decided to use Default value 0.1.
