Hi,
Tried to run the analysis but failed repeatedly. According to the log, most of the problems lie with the mesh. If it is, there were hundreds of defects that could not be corrected by the wizard.
So,
i. Why did the analysis fail?
ii. If it is because of the mesh quality, what other option other than manual correction?
iii. Another issue mentioned in the log is the beam length-diameter ratio. What options do I have if I cannot change this?
Please find the analysis log attached.
Thank you.
Regards,
Adrien.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to visit a basic tutorial for using the software.
In my experience, every question of you would be answered in that course.
Wikihelp.autodesk.com/moldflow is an good source to get online help and tutorials.
Refere to http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Moldflow/enu/2012/Help/2Insight/150_Modeling/120_The_mesh
As above issues are more related to mesh

Thanks!
I suppose I am new at this and I should look deeper into the basics.
On a side note though, I have tried solving the problems according to the error codes 701590 / 701580, by manually flipping the orientations of individual elements.
I re-ran the analysis and it failed again. This time only with error 702626. I could not find the meaning of this in any tutorial/forum.
Regards,
Adrien.
Fix free edges, overlap and intersection first. If orientation in a fusion model is not good, that mean generally there are defect in the mesh.
