Option to transfer or move nodes to a plane, which will be helpful
1. Moving the set of nodes to a plane is useful, when creating ribs from nodes from surface to a certain height.
If nodes are not in single, we may end up in moving each node separately.
2. when creating multiple drops of different heights, aliging one end of all the drop to manifold level.
3. aliigning node in a plane.by transfer.
Power copy option
There must be option to select some components of one study file & copy them or paster them in another study file.
If I need to add same feed system to other study file, I should be able copy the only feed system from that study file, should be directly paste in other study. file.
Some times we may need to merge two nodes and the resultant node should form at the center of merged nodes.
is it possible to have a check box and if it is checked the resultant node will be at the center of merged nodes

A proposal to simplify modeling Baffle features in a cooling system.
Currently, every baffle requires two separate lines to create a baffle. Users can either make a small V configuration or the two lines can be coincident. However, if at any time the nodes get merged on the baffle line then the solver interprets the baffle as a dead-end. This issue is especially problematic if using HyperMesh to generate a Moldflow mesh file.
Eliminate the second line needed to generate the baffle. The necessary pressure drop should be automatically calculated by the solver. The solver should also be able to tell which direction the water is moving based on the coolant inlet boundary condition. This is similar to other softwares on the market.
Feature line select, the possibility to select an edge or feature line in mesh for path plot or align nodes.
Currently, when you will make a path plot, you need select node by node to represent a edge. When you have a several study with differents meshes, this will take a long time.
A tool for select a feature line by nodes in order. Like you have in some Pre-processor tools (e.g. ANSA)
Export the selcted components to a study file
There must be option to select some components of one study file & export them to a study file.

There much be an Option to Change Occurrence number to multiple beam elements/ tri or tetra elements of different property type in one instance.
For example :
If I need to assign occurance number of one quarter of layout, which having beam lements of different size and type(i.e cold runner, hot runner, cold gate etc) & having tetra elements or tri-elements. I can't select all at a time and assign one value of occurnace number. I need to select each type & assign occurance number separately. I.e if it have 4 different type of elements. I need to repete the task 4 times.
Instead of this, there must be option to change occurnce number of all the selected elements( beam or tri or tetra elements)at a time. & vice versa.

today if you use global merge it merges over all layers, visible or not visible.
Global merge need also an option to work only on visible entities, and not for all layers and parts in a study.
If option provided to create a centre line for cylindrical features will be helpful to generate cooling channels.

to speed up the simulation, hybrid meshes would be advantageous.
For example Sigmasoft takes voxal meshes and this mesh is more tolerat of CAD problems. The calculation time for a compled Mould is very fast.
To decrease the preparation time and computation time hybrid meshes can help.
It would be possible to simulat very large models in 3D.
I may be bit lazy to ask this option, but I feel it must be.

or else every time with new study or with new mesh needed to apply the inputs from previous iterations.
2.There must be a option to export process parameters, including material details from one study as a file & that should imported to other new study or with new mesh, when ever needed to apply the inputs from previous iterations.
It would be very helpful, if there was an option to check importet lines/curves like IGES, to see if there are two ore more of them. Sometimes the interface of some CAD-systems exports more then one curves and in Moldflow you can't see this.
The Problem is, when you edit the properties to channels and meshed it, you have overlapped beams.
It spend many time, to check this and find the problematic areas.
Option to provide alternate trigger points for sequential valve gates
For example : If we have provided 4 cold gates for single hot drop, then flow front can reach early to any one of the cold gates.
Such case, we have run the one iteration to find out, which gate receives the flow @ first. Then in next iteration, we need to select the earlier flow reaching gate node as a trigger node.
Solution : Instead of that, if given an option like Node no1, node no 2, Node no 3( i.e 1,2,3). It should trigger valve open, which ever comes first.
I want to request an implementation of the function, “Restrict to visible entities” in the “Aspect Ratio” menu of “Mesh Diagnostics”.
When one use this function with a model mixing DD and 3D meshes, e.g. in Cool(FEM) analysis, the result shows high aspect ratio elements of both of the DD and 3D elements regardless of “Restrict to visible entities” option is checked and one of DD or 3D mesh elements are hidden.
Because it takes long time to get highest aspect ratio of each element using “Mesh Statistics”, it is necessary to use “Aspect Ratio” with being checked “Restrict to visible entities” worked and should display high aspect ratio for either of DD or 3D elements efficiently.
I think this idea will be useful for the other Moldflow users especially in case of Cool(FEM) analysis and coupled analysis of Moldflow and CFD, in future.
I would like to be able to combine 3D part elements with Midplane Part Surface elements.
(Think of film gates or living hinges, where the midplane elements are handy when you want to change the wall thickness quickly AND where you do not want to end up with very flat 3D tetras.)
(Note that combination of Dual Domain and Midplane is already possible!)
It's been well documented that 3d gates are much more accurate than beam element gates for 3d models. So I'd like the ability to create a dual-domain mesh from beam elements for gates. I would use this to easily create 3d gates. The technology to do this already exists when you create tool files for Cool(FEM). But it's a real pain to do that to a whole tool just to get a gate.
I am ok with having to stich the new gate in myself.
