Adding Material to the Material data base

I have two materials that I need to use for my moldflow but they are not listed in the Material Database.  How do I go about getting these listed?

Hi,
have you got the two materials as udb-files? (material data files for flow analysis)
If, in Analysis Wizard, tab Material, you can Import udb-files for analysis.

If you have measured data, raw data, of material you can contact datafittingmoldflow@autodesk.com
and get measured data fitted and a udb-file for analysis in return.

Does this answer your question?

Regards,
Berndt

Good Morning,

Thank-you for your quick response. I do not have udb files.  Where do I get a udb file?

Hi,

what you can do:

- ask the material supplier for an udb-file

- If you have measured data, raw data, of material you can contact datafittingmoldflow@autodesk.com
and get measured data fitted and an udb-file for analysis in return.
(material supplier might have measured data on this material?)

Otherwise one have to look up an equivalent material in database.
(Maybe material supplier can suggest an equivalent that can be used)

Regards,
Berndt

I have a .udb data base for a material I commonly use that isn't in the library.  How do I add this material information.  I attempted to import the file with Analysis izard, but the material doesn't show up in my library list.
