BEAM OFFSET AND AXIS ORIENTATION AFTER USING INTERSECT AND EXTEND COMMAND

BEAM OFFSET AND AXIS ORIENTATION AFTER USING INTERSECT AND EXTEND COMMAND

If you have built a FEA model with beam elements, and those elements have beam offset, and axis specific orientation when you try to add an new element where need to intersect a beam element or a need to build a connection between nodes, is very hard to do that, because the software doesn`t respect your defined beam offset and axis orientation.

It will be nice that after using the commands:

- Divide.

- Intersect.

- Extend.

The software would be detect what is the intention of the FEA model and respect the beam orientation and Beam offset.
