I am modelling a comb drive from a MEMS device. The device consists of two charged combs which interlock. I'm using a 2D mesh on this model, and was looking to find the net electrical force (magnitude and direction) on one of the combs due to the charges on the other. I have run a simulation, and have the nodal force values, but is there a way to compute a vector sum of all of these forces on one part?
I would attach a file, but the file size is very large.
Thanks,
Mike
