Simulation Part names do not transfer to Fusion for model editing.

Hello All,

I hope I am in the right forum. If not please let me know.  I am having problems with part names not transfering over from Simulation Mechanical to Inventor Fusion for editing.  The model was created in Rhino.  I can open the 3DM and/or Step files directly in Simulation Mechanical.  With no problems.  The Part names are based on the polysurface name from the Rhino file and they come in as part names.  When I click on the "Edit in Fusion" button I loose the part names.  The part names do not come in if I open the Rhino files in Inventor Fusion 2012 and 2013.  What I get in Fusion is Body1:1, Body2:1 and so on.  This problem occurs in both Simulation Mechanical 2012 and 2013.

Thanks in advance for any and all help in this matter.

Best Regards,

Rick
