Does a General Shell Element consides all 6 DOF's in it's formulation or 5 DOF's only with out-of-plane rotational DOF not included such as a plate element?....When we run a plate element does it considers transverse shear or it is only for General Shell element?...What's the reason why a out-of-plane rotational DOF is negligible for plate or shell element?....Many thanks in advance...
