I am having issues ALGOR FEA simulator in determining the stress on a hub that has a mating shaft with a flat ground in it. Since the shaft is D shaped all the stresses are applied to the edge of the shaft flat when a torque is applied and transmited into the hub. There is no keyway or set screw used to attach the hub. Anybody run into this problem before?
