Program aborted. Could not allocate memory for part

We have recently installed Algor Simulation MES 2011 on Windows XP and have problems running MES with Nonlinear Material Models.
Jobs which ran perfectly well in Algor 23 now aborts in the analysis with the message:
Could not allocate memory for part # 1
It is not only a specific job. It is any job.
We have tried to adjust the memory allocation parameter but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

Claus,

This type of message can occur on computers having more that 16 GB RAM. In this case, one may be required to reduce the amount of allocated RAM in the Analysis Parameters screen from 50% to 20%.

The other limitation is that the processor will need enough RAM to load each part into an array. If a single part has a huge number of elements and the computer doesn't have enough RAM, then one will be required to either use a more coarse mesh, or to divide the part into 2.

These suggestions describe how to address either having too much RAM or too little.
