Meshing problemon huge model

Hi,

I have a big model, that gives me strange behaviour during the meshing process:

the surface mesh is ok ;

when i ran the analysis (after having input BC, loads and materials), and so during the solid mesh process, some parts are not meshed at all and a message saying no lines in the parts is appearing...

So i wonder how can this happen....

Thanks for your ideas,

Hi Alain,

I do not know what the problem is, so these steps will not solve your problem but may help to diagnose it.

  1. Hide all of the parts except for one of the parts that fails to solid mesh.
  2. Save an image of the part ("application button > Export > Image")
  3. Right-click on the part in the browser and choose "Create Solid Mesh".
  4. I do not know how the log will appear, but you can copy the text from:

a) maybe the dialog that shows the meshing progress while it is meshing?

b) from the "Mesh > Mesh > View Mesh Results" command, and somewhere it will show the log file

c) the file named "ds.xlg" located in the .ds_data\design scenario folder.

Attach the image and the text from the solid meshing log to your reply.
