Meshing error eht_unknown

While performing a midplane mesh on an imported IGES assembly (~10 parts), the meshing abruptly stops with the error message " An error of type eht_unknown has occured". Please see attached screenshot.

What does this error mean? The ADSK help is not helpful at all!

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jkmalagi,

I know you posted this over 3 years ago but I just ran into the same issue today.  I tried importing in a couple of new parts from SolidWorks into Simulation Mechanical and it gave me the same exact error.  My model had previously not had an issue with the meshing process.

I was able to workaround the issue by suppressing all of my new objects and then un-suppressing and remeshing them one at a time.  This may be random dumb luck, but I had no issues after doing this.

Nate
