Merged File Loses Part Definition

When merging an existing .fem file, the part name & type come in, but it strips the part definition, and material.

Is there a way to have all the part properties to come in with a merged file?

If not, could we add this to the wishlist for future releases? It would also be nice if the beam offsets, end releases, loads, and boundary conditions came as well.

Please search the documentation for "Save/Read Attributes". This is the only method that I know of.

That does work, and it might be a decent workaround. The only problem I see is that it has troubles doing more than one part at a time.

If I can't do a multiple selection Read, it's still takes a long time to redefine those parts.
