Make FEM - Algor not responding

I'm trying to use the Export > Make FEM command to generate a new model, but every time I try it, the program stops responding.  I have tried it with a couple of different models and rebooted the computer, but nothing seems to help.  I have let it run while not responding for up to 30 minutes.  The primary model I am working with is not large (only about 86k nodes, and one applied surface force) and the analysis runs in under 5 minutes, so it would appear that something is not working properly with this command.  Has anybody else run into this issue?  If so, how was it fixed?

Hi,

It does take a lot of time. I have also used the "Make FEM"-command on a model of about 40k nodes, and it could take up to 45 minutes. So there's nothing wrong with the command, it just takes ages.
