increasing processing speed with ALGOR

I use ALGOR MES on a quad core I7 920 overclocked to 3.1 Ghz , 12 GB ram , I am always - it seems - in need of more speed - ram usage peaks at 2-3 Gig, but never maxes out. My runs take 36 -48 hrs. I have another QC i7 hanging around watching and it would really like to be hooked to the first to create a parallel processing system - if this would help. It's either that or build a new machine with dual quad processors - assuming MES can work with 2 quad cores.


Can anyone suggest a path to, hopefully, aim at doubling the processing speed, or do I have to wait until processor speed increases ?
