I/O Error

I'm trying to run an analysis for a quite large model, but I keep getting an "I/O error" message. That's all it says. In the log file it looks like this:

** STOP: I/O error!

What is this due to? It occurs after the very first iteration (it's a MES analysis).

How large is your model? for examples, how many elements, equations, nodes?

It was around 1,5 million degrees of freedom (all brick elements). The problem disappeared when I reduced the number of elements...so I guess that's one way to solve it.

Thanks
