How to see Fatigue results in the results menu

Hi,

I made a static stress analysis and a fatigue analysis. When the fatigue analysis is finished, I don't have the fatigue results in the results menu.

Do you have a solution.

thanks

Damien

The fatigue results are only available in the Fatigue Wizard itself, I think. You are given an estimated life for the component (for all node numbers considered "in danger") and can also visualize this through FW itself.

Hi,

thanks for your answer.

But in Algor Website (http://www.algor.com/news_pub/tech_reports/2005/fatigue/default.asp?sQuery=fatigue) we can see an exemple for fatigue analysis. At the end we have a picture where we can see the fatigue results in the result menu.

I think it's an old version of Algor but In Algor 2011 we must see also the fatigue results in the result menu.

Somebody have an idea in order to have fatigue results in result menu because I've just the results in the Fatigue Wizard itself?

Thanks

Damien

Hi, Damien,

First, make sure your fatigue results exist in the model folder.

Then can you see the menu for fatigue in result tab?

Choose the right one. For examples, strain based menu for strain based fatigue analysis.

If the menu items are not enabled, you can try to close the model first and reload it again. After that, the menu should work fine.

One more comment here:

If your fatigue analysis is based on MES results, the fatigue result in FEMPRO is only available for step 0.

For those who cannot see the following three "RESULTS" pull-down menu choices from within the Results Environment after performing a fatigue analysis:

   "Fatigue Life Results (Stress based)"

   "Fatigue Life Results (Strain based)"

   "Fatigue Safety Factor Results"

There are two possible solutions:

   1)  As indicated previously, one will need to choose the "X" on the top right of the Results Environment window, then re-access the "Results" tab from within the "FEA Editor" (or close and re-open the model), or

   2)  Navigate to the Algor installation directory and double-click two registry files:

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Algor Simulation 2011\Addins\Fatigue Wizard\FatigueWizardResults.reg"

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Algor Simulation 2011\Addins\Fatigue Wizard\FatigueWizardResultsMenu.reg"

One should then be able to view previously performed fatigue analysis results after re-loading the model in Algor.

Hi,

It was necessary to click on this two files. Thank you so much for your help.
