How to avoid and solve Error "forrtl: severe (157)" completely?

Each time when I use MES module, the "forrtl: severe (157)" error message might appear randomly. Then restart current simulation again and again is the only way to get the final analysis result.

Unfortunately, I have one model that will shut down at the same time step, and can't be restart. The error messages list as follows:

1.How to avoid and solve the error completely?

2.Is there any update program for this problem?

3.What might be the cause that I can not restart my simulation?

According to your log file, the error happened during surface loads calculation.

I'm not sure the reason why it failed here.

One of the ways to avoid it is to replace surface force/pressure/traction with nodal forces.

Please consider to upload an alternative model if the error could be consistently re-produced there.

Thanks a lot.

Can you send up this model?

The problem is converge if you read the help about Autotm limit the problem is that your model is not converging to a result. I have the same problem and I´m trying to find the best solver to find my convergence.

The log file shows that the time step is still at level 1.  The might be a random error or a kind of crash.

Could we know which version is used?

I am using mechanical simulation 2015 .im doing software evaluation at the moment. In my case i am doing a hydrostatic load over the wall of a tank to reproduce the deformation of the real tank

i have the problem in thermal and static transient. if i remove loads the model runs but with all my loads the model do not converge.
