Frequency response error - Node number out of range

Hi,

When I'm trying to use a modal analysis to run a frequency response, I keep getting the error message "Node number out of range". I have checked and double-checked the node number, but it's correct. I have made sure to define a frequency index, and set the excitation load properly. Any ideas on what the problem might be?

This is the log file:

Nevermind, I assumed that it was the vertex number that was supposed to be used, not the node number.

Now I ran into another problem. When I try to start the analysis, I get an error message (see attached screen). What does this mean?

I think it's very possible that non-english characters in your model path cause this error.

Please try to copy your model to "c:\temp" and have a try.

Yeah, copying everything to a new folder worked. I don't understand why, though; I have no non-english characters in the path. Must've been some strange file permission issue.

Thanks
