Exporting data in ALGOR

I have used Modal Analysis in order to obtain the first 100 modal shapes and natural frequencies of a masonry building. I would like to export the data regarding all modes as it is organized in the .log file, i.e. the natural frequencies of all modes are listed.

I would be grateful if someone could advise me on how to proceed.

Thank you in advance.

Hi cff22,

You should be able to look at the "Processor Log Files > Frequency Logs" in the report environment to get the frequencies. Then if you highlight the text, you can type Ctrl+C to copy the text and paste it into another document. (The right-click context menu does not include the Copy option, but it can be done from the keyboard.)

Likewise, you can access any of the reports from the Report tab.

You can also use Word or Notepad to view the log files outside of the software. Go to the Help and search for "File Extensions". That page will show the directory structure and list the extensions for all of the different analysis types.
