Currently I have educational licenses and downloaded Simulation Mechanical. Althougth, the program is free the IT department set up the license downloads for my lab. Upon downloading the program me and the IT tech access the simulation mechanical tutorials on line and could not get the tutorial to upload. I figured maybe there was just a glitch in the tutorial. But I created a 3D model in AutoCAD 2013 and uploaded that drawing into Simulation Mechanical and received errors. The only way the CAD drawing loaded was quickly cancel loading each time it went thru a loading process.
This same problem happened when messing, adding restraints, and forces. Is there something else that need to the Simulation Mechanical Program or is this a current problem within the program?
