Could not open the step file piston.stp in tutorials

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I could not open the piston.stp directly from Autodesk Simulation 2012.

And show message as th attached file.

I'd install the 2013 beta and preview from labs.

I'd uninstal 2012, 2013 beta and preview, then reinstall 2012, but problems still happend.

I wonder if the file did not download properly. Can you open the step file with a CAD app? (Inventor, Fusion, SolidWorks, etc).

I'd tried open this file in Inventor and output sucessfully with "Start Simulation".

I also tried to finish a simple Linear Static Structure Analysis, and try Fatigue Wizard  failed.

The message showed " Do not support this analysis type..." ???

I'd tried the same works in other PCs are well and normal, but failed only this NB.

Uninstal, repare, resart system, even try to install 2013 Beta again, all failed.

According to your description, it seems the problem is about installation/uninstallation.

Some previous posts mentioned how to clean registry table in Windows for ASIM.
