Can't Pick Edge or node to add a force

I can only pick surfaces.

 

I did pick an edge in one model, but can't figure out how to repeat.

Hi, MachineC,

 

Not very sure your problem.

 

In ASIM2012, I can pick up a edge with Selection -> Edges checked.
