can not see lines

HI,

I have following problem:

I am planning with 2D analysis.

I have created two parts importing linework form Autocad.

I can mesh them and run the analyse.

But if I delete mesh of one part or both I can not see lines that create boundary of this elements.

I have tried with different visual styles, visibility of parts, isolation ....

What I should do to make this lines visible?

Cris.

Hi Cris,

How did you delete the lines? The two options come to my mind:

  1. The construction lines are not visible. Check the "View > ? > Construction whatever".
  2. The constructon lines were accidentally deleted. If the construction objects are not listed in the browser (under each part, in a branch for a drawing plane), then the lines are gone.

Hi,

I have not deleted lines at all.

What I did was: selected mesh in the tree and chose "delete" from context menu

Lines are listed in the tree view.

I have tried every possible option in View menu. Nothing had a effect that would be showing the lines.

I discovered that if I do following procedure lines are visible (but this are not original once)

In tree view I select plane on which this invisible lines are and select "copy to plane..." from context menu. I copy them to XY (originally they are on YZ).

After that I copy again from XY to YZ and this new lines (this copied twice) are then shown on screen.

Is this normal?

Cris
