BUG? - Set color on surface parts

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to check if this is a bug. I work only with surface parts, so I don't have a clue if this also applies to 3D parts.

Anyway, try this:

1- Select 2 surface parts

2- Right-click -> Edit -> Color...

3- Select a color -> Ok

4- The color only applies to one surface, not both.

Is this intentional?

Sincerely!

I can re-produce exact what you see. Unfortunately, I'm not sure this is a bug or not. 😞

Hopefully others people could share their experiences soon.

Same behavior here (Autodesk Simulation Mechanical 2012 SP1).

Selecting the heading of more than one surface and then Edit|Color... from the browser tree, the selection made in the Select Color window is applied to the first selected surface only, while the colors of the other selected surfaces remain unchanged.

The other multiple selections work correctly.

Thank for reporting this issue. Yes this is a bug and we will work on fixing it.

In the meantime, you can work around this by changing the color of 1 entity, and then copy/paste the color of that entity to multiple entities.
