Beam element numbers

When I make a beam model and transfer to the results screen
with beam element numbers I get the individual beam elements numbered at both ends
as well as midway. This causes the effect shown on the JPEG attached which insn't nice
to present in a report.

What are the causes and is there some way of having the beam numbers just at the mid point.

Hi Nigel,

The problem with the overlapping beam element numbers exist when the 3-D visualization is on. When off, the element number appears only at the center of the beam. (The visualization can be turned off by right-clicking on the part in the browser and unchecking "3-D Visualization".)

I will make sure that our developers are aware of this issue.
