Annoying Zoom Graphics in Algor 2011

I just started using Algor 2011, and whenever I zoom with my mouse wheel it displays a green pivot indicator as well as text that says "Zoom Tool". I don't need either. Is there a way to turn this off?

The pivot ball and tooltip are part of an ongoing effort to provide a more unified visual experience for Autodesk products such as Algor Simulation and Inventor. There is not a way to turn this feature off.

That said, for mouse wheel zoom specifically I notice an inconsistency between Algor behavior and Inventor behavior regarding display of the pivot ball and tooltip that should probably be looked into.

As always, we value our customers' feedback and are open to suggestions as to how to further improve our products.

I understand having a pivot ball for a rotating command, but it is not helpful when zooming only.

Thanks for looking into this.
