Wind load on inflated structure

Hi,

Is there a particular type of simulation best suited for analyzing wind effects on inflated fabric structures? I'm interested in the relationship between inflation pressure and resistance to deformation.

Hi,

I would have thought you might need CFD and Mechanical for this, although it depends what you need to know.

You could run a wind load analysis and capture the external wall forces in CFD, perhaps this is enough?

If not, you could read these results into Sim Mechanical and run the deformation analysis with the internal pressure also. In CFD only, we would not show any deformation.
