What Packages Are Available for Windows 8.1?

Hi,

My school recently switched our laptops to Lenovos with Windows 8.1. I would like to know which packages can I download and install? I wish to run Inventor and Simulation CFD. I actually installed 2014 version for both but came to realise from this forum that Simulation CFD 2014 cannot be run in Windows 8.1. Is this still true?

Please advise which packages can I use?

Regards,

Steven

Each Product has a support page that list the current supported operating systems.

at this time there have not been any new updates to Simulation CFD 2014 to support Win8.1

Simulation CFD 2015 will support Windows 8.1 and should be available soon. I am not sure how fast it will be avaialbe to students. Typically, there is some lag for the EDU folks.

Ok thanks for the update. I guess I can't do anything with my Win8.1 at the moment 😞 and I also suppose older versions (2013, etc) dont work either...

CFD 2015 is avaialble today!

Hopefully this solves the Windows 8.1 for good.
