Welcome to the Autodesk Simulation CFD Forum

This forum is dedicated to the CFD products within the Autodesk Simulation family of products. Autodesk Simulation CFD is the rebranded and repackaged version of the former CFdesign products from Blue Ridge Numerics. Blue Ridge was acquired by Autodesk in March 2011.

The team is very excited for the future and we look forward to helping out via this forum. The previous forum that was hosted in the CFdesign Customer Portal has been retired. All questions and discussions should be posted here.

I am tryin to simulate flow through the housing of an air filter.
And for the media I am giving the material as resistance.
Now, I need to enter Permeability value where the units are in m2 but the values which I have for the media air permeability is in CFM(cubic feet per minute).
I dont know how to input the value of air permeability for the media

need ur help on this

I keep getting this error on cfd .. im trying to run an air flow analysis importing a simple rhino massing model into cfd

i have looked up many tutorials, I follow all the steps and at the end when I click solve, this window saying the solver has EXITED.

Maybe start a new thread? Smiley LOL

We would likely need a support (CFZ) file also.

Thanks!
